Tamar Lake Café — Restaurant in England

We sat indoors due to rain, dogs are allowed. Order and pay at the counter then it will be brought over to your table when ready. Kept very clean, beautiful food, have gifts to purchase and the staff very friendly and welcoming. There is a small play park outside for children, the car parking has to be paid for at the machine before entering the café as you are on the property where you can fish, walk etc you will need to have an idea how long you will be staying for. Toilet facilities are not in the café but in the block of buildings outside, we didn't use them so cannot comment. Lovely visit today, really enjoyable walk around the lake, about 3 miles, mostly flat with views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Stopped off on bike ride before doing a loop of the lake. It was during the day mid week and service was really quick and friendly. We had cake which was really well made and tasty. Everything came out quickly and the facilities looked clean and tidy, plus there is a play zone for kids. The trail around the lake was great for bikes and generally a pleasant experience all round....
