Wow!! What can I say !!! The last time I came here was 2016 with my son and the restaurant consisted of a couple of tables and no toilet !!! We had no preconceptions and came with my in laws who live on the island!!! After a bit of a Rocky start with service the food was delivered!! To say that the quality and quantity was out of this world was an understatement!!! We all ordered the sea food platter !!! The variety of beautiful fish was outstanding and so was the freshness and quality!!! The waitress who’s Birthday it was dressed in a beautiful pink dress who's shift started while we were in the middle of our meal was the best !!! Make sure you keep her she turned the service to an outstanding immediately!!! This restaurant is an absolute must if you visit the island !!! If you compare the quality and freshness along with the price it beats the Hut in Colwell Bay in every category hands down !!!We will talk about our experience for many months and can’t wait until we are back next year to experience it again !!! Sea food Heaven !!Thanks for the best night out we have...
Read moreWe looked through google reviews to find a nice little place to have lunch before check in to our cabin, the reviews looked promising so we decided to give it a go!
The lad on FOH was approachable and friendly and sat us up by the bar, he was going to pop up with a menu which never arrived, I asked the bar staff for a menu, the guy radioed down and after a good while we finally received a menu, unfortunately upon ordering it was apparent we had the wrong menu, so after returning back to our table with the correct menu we decided to just order the kids food.
40 minutes later, we started chasing the kids food, maccaroni cheese. The food was good and the kids did enjoy it. The wait for food was lengthy and the kids became extremely bored.
Would i come back again, in short, No! Not the best start to our holiday but with an array of eateries in the area we hope to visit some...

The food was good and I had the prawn platter which was very tasty, though slightly overpriced, and in general the whole menu felt a bit expensive for what it was, especially the pizzas. The service was a bit hit and miss. Everyone was absolutely lovely but quite slow and forgetful. They forgot the sauces for the prawn platter, which only arrived after we had almost finished, and also forgot our drinks. It also took a long time to pay even though it wasn’t that busy. I appreciate that with multiple levels things can get tricky, but it did make the experience a little uneven. All in all, it is a great location with nice food and friendly staff, but the service could...
