From entering the pub the staff were on point - Covid restrictions were well observed and staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, I've had steaks in other pubs and they have been no where near this one. Normally I find the 'extras' on the plate too much but this one was perfect. Make sure they've topped up their smart meter if you book to eat here, otherwise you'll leave hungry like we did on Saturday! I booked lunch for a party of 9 over a week in advance but we didn't actually get any lunch because they couldn't top up the smart meter at the weekend (?).
