Very nice food and very reasonable price for the level of food served. Very reasonable price for drinks too. We had a starters; Smoked Salmon and Crayfish salad. Pickled crab with smoked eel. Mains; Rump of Lamb, dauphine potatoes, mushrooms, parsnip, kale cabbage, port jus. Steak and Ale pie, chips, carrots, brocoli and courgettes. Dessert; Chocolate sponge with chocolate sauce and strawberry ice-cream. Raspberry cheese cake, honey comb and raspberry sorbet. Drinks; 2 x Pints of Lime sodas 1 x Amaretto and cola 1 x Pimms and lemonade 1 x Glass of red Merlot wine 1 x Archers peach and lemonade Every dish was delightful, pleasantly and perfectly cooked. The food was tasty, well presented and they catered very well for one of our party being vegan. Overall a lovely experience. Thank you for the vegan nut roast it was delicious. 5...
