Went to this venue on Saturday 5th Feb.....first impressions were that it's seems popular as was full and had to find a table in the back part of the coffee shop which seemed to resemble a bit of a small school dining hall and didn't fit in with the ambience of the rest of the establishment....on entering there seemed to be a lack of someone clearing the tables as the two or three that were vacant still hadn't been cleared and had to do it ourselves.... Apart from eating experience quite liked the whole venue with it shops etc and will probably visit again as it's local but not on a weekend..... Just my personal experience on the day but like I said seems very popular and could have been...

Countless visits over the years, so here's my review. Nice array of scones and cakes, plus a good light breakfast and lunch menu (think bacon sandwiches, poached eggs, pie and salad, jacket potatoes). Typically my mam and I go for tea/coffee and scones - scones are some of the best around (today it was white chocolate and blueberry for me, cheese for my mam). Tea always nice, my mam particularly likes the coffee. Staff always pleasant and quick; the place itself is clean and with a laid back atmosphere. It can get busy so be prepared the the occasional five minute wait. Highly...

A very busy place always, but it is also always a pleasure to visit as the excellent choices if food are top class and very fresh - so along with the friendly welcome and good service and a canny pot if tea for 3 - it keeps us coming back for more. Sit in and enjoy the fab food or take it away. Choice us yours. Dont miss making it a place to call. Great farm shop, clothes shop, cook shop + other outlets to keep you interested ( some a little pricey - but you might fall upon a great bargain)....

I've been here quite a few times and it's always been fabulous! Lovely little spot for some lunch or a quick coffee. Forgot to take any photos apart from of my caramel shortbread but trust me when I say its lovely and cosy inside Service was great, very friendly and helpful staff They even offer gluten free options which was great for my partner as they got to enjoy a cheese scone with me! Would recommend to anyone passing by!

Overpriced and Soggy Quiche. Ordered 2 cheese, chive, and onion quiches that had been microwaved, very wet, and flavourless. On the menu, a plain jacket potato was £3.50 but if you want cheese, it would be £8.90, how can you justify £5.40 for a bit of cheese?!
