Price For Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall the price of the food/drinks at The Boxwood Cafe is fantastic. The price you pay for the food and drinks you receive is extremely good.

Speed of Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On this particular day the speed of service was fine. The main Front of House was great and the ladies there were really respectful, very well mannered and polite. The service of food and drinks was very quick!

Food Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall quality of my food was extremely good and high quality. Receiving a 3 towers for my afternoon tea was very good. There was a Nice variety of flavours and combination of foods was amazing. The desserts were really well made and extremely refreshing!

Restaraunt Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The overall cleanliness of the cafe was really high. High levels of cleanliness and applicable COVID measures in place for the given time.

Excellent food and service! Since the start of the pandemic all our once favourite places to eat have been disappointing at best if not downright unpleasant. Not so with the Boxwood Cafe. Its the only place where the food has remained a consistently high standard. Were always met with a friendly welcome and the service is prompt. On top of that its the only place that offers a good range of gluten free cakes that are actually appetising both to look at and to eat. Most places seem to think that those of us who are gluten free have no desire to eat anything remotely pleasant, and will be happy with something akin to oven-baked cardboard. This place was a revelation for us today. No idea why we hadn’t been before, but definitely we’ll be back! We had to have a table outside, because it as soon as busy, but fortunately it was just warm enough with a coat. Staff were really friendly and efficient. Food was great!! Mum had an open Crab salad sandwich which she said was excellent. I had a tuna sandwich - coleslaw and side salad were so tasty. We had lemon cheesecake and a tea cake for dessert, and I also got a Pastel de Nata to try because I adore them and they didn’t disappoint. Coffee was really good too.
