The Breakfast Hub — Restaurant in England

Visited today for a quick bite to eat, to grab and go. This visit was far from quick, in fact it would’ve been quicker to grab the pig from the farm and go 65 miles to slaughter and prepare at home than wait for the bacon panini from here.

I thought the waitress behind the serving desk came straight from her job as an extra from ‘The Walking Dead’, in fact, I’m sure I would’ve had more chat and better service from a zombie off this programme.

Our order, a chicken wrap, a chicken sandwich, a panini and two salads. Sounds simple, a task a 7 year old could make at home in around 10 mins, however little did we know this would take 45 mins to complete. It was as painful as England getting beat on penalties in the Euros last summer.

My chicken sandwich was so dry, I had to have a dioralyte chaser afterwards. They even added some of said dry chicken to my partners panini just to prove they couldn’t even get the order right also.

To gain access to this fine establishment (lol) we had to barge our way past the Deliveroo and Just Eat drivers, which resembled the waiting room of an STI clinic due to the looks of severe dismay and depression.

To summarise, I’d sooner eat some of the road kill we saw on route to this establishment than put myself through ordeal this...

Really disappointed, we have ordered from here loads and use the place regularly normally its really good, however a few days ago this week my colleague collected a sandwich and the bread was so stale it could have been used as a doorstop. But the sandwich was replaced with fresh bread so I put it down to a 1 off and ordered again today where do I start, ordered an egg Mayo sandwich and received tuna, ordered 2x kids meals, had two phone calls back to say there was none of the kids options available so I asked for cheese sandwichs instead 1 out of 2 arrived, the bread was just on the turn of stale and the chicken salad sandwich with asl pepper and Mayo had no salt and pepper and no Mayo and the Coleslaw ordered was also missing. I rung to complain to be told they can re make the wrong things but they close shortly. Absolutely shocking service very disappointed this place used to be so good and we have used it a lot. Sadly won't be going...

Normally I would order through Deliveroo but change of plan we had decided to come in person today and hands down still my favourite breakfast place. Definitely much better to go in person than it is to online as the prices are definitely a lot cheaper and the atmosphere and inside is lovely Very well decorated very well spaced out plenty staff was very polite toilets available on site as well and great selection of food including background as well Small amount of parking available. Will definitely be returning again as this is my favourite Restaurant
