We went to The Bugle Inn pub restaurant for lunch on a Tuesday. Nice amount of people outside and in, not over run but quietly buzzing with noise. We were greeted by bar staff on entry, they asked us to choose a table and come back to the bar to order our food. We explained we were gluten free and asked what they recommended. We chose Bugle chilli con carne and Sausage and mash. They double checked with chefs. We went back to our table and were brought nice refreshing fresh orange and lemonade drinks. Food didn't take too long at all and was very enjoyable. The staff were attentive but left us alone to eat. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch all round. Which is great as we are staying with Rellies in Brading 👌🏻

Great pub, feels very traditional. Visited whilst on a short holiday. PLENTY of seating space, lovely staff, good sized meals, fast service. There was an indoor soft play and climbing equipment outside making it perfect for children. Really cute cat came in, I think it’s a regular, would be super cute if they had a pic of the cat explaining that it’s a regular quest. Would definitely recommended. Only knocked a star as I think some walls could have done with a clean for a better feel.

This pub is run down, sticky and in need of a total refurb. Despite the friendly staff, I think I had the worst curry that mankind/womankind has, to date, ever created! In addition to this gastronomic disaster the burger, which the menu tells us is made from the finest quality beef, produced on the island, was in fact the entire opposite. Overcooked, and of the poorest quality, it was the perfect companion to the 'curry.' All in all, not a great experience.

Possibly the worst meal we have every consumed, it all started when we went to order food we were informed that they were out of steak and chicken, would of been better to of been informed at the table. There was a substantial wait for food to arriv, we were in for a shock. The food quality was poor to say the least, when the food was bought out it was given to wrong people as waiter didnt know what meal he was bringing out, the burgers were barely warm, the lamb burger had little taste and wasn't suppose to have cheese but came with cheese, the blue cheese burger suppose to have bacon but came with no bacon when our party complained a piece of grease bacon was bought out by the waiter, the plain burgers we ordered one was bought out with everything on it, the cheese garlic bread was rubbery and bread was stale. The child's hotdogs well let's leave them at I have eaten better at a fairground. We thought we could end the evening on a happy note with dessert as you can't really mess that up, well how wrong were we, the waffle could of been used to build a house, the hot chocolate fudge cake was colder. than ice cream, and the brownies were stodgy. Kids dessert was served in glass bowl which was a bad idea and table wasn't cleared after main course. Terrible experience, we complained to manager at end of meal and was informed we should of said something during meal well we did try but waiter wasn't...

Was going to try Bugle a few years ago when it was a Grill House but the reviews were not too good. As this had changed hands, thought would give it a go. Has a large car park just off Brading High Street. Despite warning signs think a few cars were not using the pub. Only a couple of disabled parking spaces. The main entrance on Brading High Street has a small step. Would be a struggle to get a wheelchair in but with a little help you probably could. If you go in the back entrance near the disabled parking spaces it is a little easier. There are still a couple of slight bumps to get over but you could probably manage it without any help.

The pub has a rustic feel. It is a very cosy place though. There is a good selection of food and specials. Overall it works out about £10 for main course. Meals are served quickly and very well presented. Staff are friendly and aim to please.

Disabled toilet is a good size with bars in all the right places.

Overall a nice place to eat with friendly staff. A nice old pub...

We recently ate at The Bugle whilst on holiday it’s a large pub catering for all ages the exterior could do with a little attention the interior has the worn look. On entering we didn’t know if you went to bar or got a table nothing to indicate went to bar but the staff were busy so looked for a table which explained order at bar giving your table number this could have been on the specials board which was at the entrance. Ordered food and drinks at the bar after a wait for staff I was 1st got served 3rd. The food arrived looked very nice clearly freshly cooked all tasted good my steak was cooked as asked. The service was ok but it didn’t feel like the you were made very welcome the staff were just doing their job. Pricing is not cheap beer was more expensive than another local pub food price was ok with large portions. Overall I wouldn’t return although we enjoyed our food we felt like it was more of a pub for the locals who were known the food gets 4 stars but overall it’s a...
