Great local pub right on the corner in the village. Very friendly atmosphere unlike some local pubs and the staff were friendly too. Great selection of drinks. The best bit has to be the ample sized beer garden around the back. Loads of places to sit and enjoy the sun plus plenty of things for the kids to play on such as swings and a climbing thing with a slide. You can also hire their barbecue if you arrange it...

This is what a pub should be. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed. The garden is huge and I've seen so many events take place here showing that community is one of the core values that this pub holds. It is also very responsibly dog friendly. I like this village pub it does what it says on the tin. Sells beer. There's a well kept celler and a friendly welcome despite what some of the village haters have written.
