We booked this lovely room through booking dot com.... We didn't want to be too far from home on our wedding night bit we also wanted to be somewhere surrounded by peace and tranquility.|The owners are just perfect and couldn't so enough for us, we even left our car with them and keys (we didn't want theie patriots to be annoyed incase our car alarm went off). Nothing was too much for them, they know exactly how to make u feel special.|We arrived late at night and entered our room, upon entering we were struck with how much the room is asking u to come in and relax, huge TV and loads of cupboard storage. Tea and percolated coffee is ready for u to make with complimentary biscuits.|We couldn't believe our eyes when we spotted an ice bucket with prosseco inside, two flutes to match....|Just wonderful.....|In the morning we planned to have breakfast as 9am but found ourselves up and ready at half past 8, so went for a stroll and back into the pub for our breakfast.|Tea and coffee was offered and we were asked if we would like to start with cereal... Out came the toast with gorgeous local made butter and fresh orange juice. Moments later a fresh cooked full English was produced and my god was that needed and totally delicious..... |We will be booking again and again, and...

Great food, great table service team,Pitty about the manager: we booked very last minute due to a cancellation elsewhere for dinner for an 18th. Very accommodating, not overly busy, was placed near the garden as advised we had 4 children with us. We knew the kitchen were busy but we didn’t mind waiting, little girl from the pub asked if the kids could play with her outside (heatwave) of course they could. One of ours got snapped at by the pub dog, we were then informed HE DOESN’T LIKE KIDS! I would not have him freely wondering around the pub then if I’m honest and sitting waiting for food at the tables. Big dog too a lab so he really could do something if he snapped at a kid. 5 minutes later we were told there was a complaint from the garden about the kids….so they all got called in. After which we finished weren’t offered any more drinks, so we paid the bill and left. It’s a massively shame because the food was amazing! Everyone was catered for, wait staff so attentive! But this out a really downer on it. The kids were playing stuck in the mud and top trumps hardly running riot. If you don’t cater for kids (you have a kids menu) state you don’t want...
