A gem of a country pub, a typical ‘center of the community’ village pub where everyone is welcomed. The food is excellent, outstanding in fact and, the service is second to none. With a great range of beers, ciders and spirits this is a great pub to make an effort to get to if you are not in the village. The last Saturday of the month is Brunch time with a lovely range of options, the quality, presentation and flavor is outstanding. Tuesday : Fish and Chips, they are closed Wednesday and Thursday at the moment. Friday tends to be the grill menu and Saturday is a la cart. Sunday is the Sunday Lunch. Booking for every day is...

First time going to The Cross Keys and it was lovely. The warm welcome from Mandy and Simon made all the difference and really did make you feel welcome. I went on "chippy tea" Tuesday and was just as good, if not better, than an actual chippy!! We walked here with our family and dogs. Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming to us all. Food needs to be booked in advance, table booking is advised. There is carparking to the side of the pub, but you can walk here from Lyneham village as well. Much better than the Mallard and cheaper as well. I can say I will definitely be visiting again 😁 Lovely and cosy atmosphere with a log fire and plenty of comfy seating....

A gorgeous village pub in a truly stunning and quaint little village with one of the warmest welcoming fires I've had the joy to sit in front of. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in this beautiful little village then I highly recommend you call in for a drink or two. (they also offer food, which looked great)

Wonderful local pub that we walked through a mile of nettles to get to, and it was well worth it! Delicious BLTs and pasta. And then John offered to drive us back to our place at Swallett Farm, it’s 91F/33C! Thanks all for a wonderful experience!
