A gem of a country pub, a typical ‘center of the community’ village pub where everyone is welcomed. The food is excellent, outstanding in fact and, the service is second to none. With a great range of beers, ciders and spirits this is a great pub to make an effort to get to if you are not in the village. Read moreWe walked here with our family and dogs. Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming to us all. Food needs to be booked in advance, table booking is advised. There is carparking to the side of the pub, but you can walk here from Lyneham village as well. Much better than the Mallard and cheaper as well. I can say I will definitely be visiting again 😁 Lovely and cosy atmosphere with a log fire and plenty of comfy seating....
