I recently visited Croust Hut with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing! I had the steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The selection of food and drinks was impressive—different and incredibly tasty.

The selection of cakes was so interesting too! We had the peanut butter and jelly cake and the coffee cake, both dairy-free and incredibly delicious. Our drinks were amazing as well; we tried some Japanese-flavoured drinks, and they were super yummy!

The staff were incredibly friendly and seemed to genuinely love working there, which really enhanced our experience. I also appreciated there was a separate menu that explained all the allergens, making my life so much easier (I wish all restaurants had one!) The lovely scenery added to the overall atmosphere as well. I’d highly recommend Croust Hut for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

It's really nice to have a menu that offers such interesting food. Many cafes are boring and don’t cater to dietary needs. I'm so glad we had a great experience celebrating our anniversary there! We’ll definitely be going back for more...

We had a delicious cooked breakfast at The Croust Hut yesterday. Had a sneak peek at the lunch menu and it looked great. Reckon the breakfast we had was one of the best we’ve ever eaten. Was very busy so I’d recommend booking especially if it’s a rainy day. Four stars for service as the lady who sat us was a bit brusque (I think because it was approaching the end of breakfast service and they were fully booked for lunch), also there was no way to just order sausage, beans and toast for our little one so we had to order a kids Cornish breakfast and take off all the items she wouldn’t eat, not the end of the world but frustrating. Overall though it was a great breakfast and they have toys for the kids to play with. The cake looked great and they serve one of the best ice-creams in...

We stopped here for lunch before going to the mine museum. We were expecting normal cafe type stuff but were pleasantly surprised to find the menu filled with delicious sounding Japanese/Korean food. We both had the Japanese fish finger sandwich which was delicious. I looked at other tables too and everything looked delicious. Wish I could have eaten more and tried everything on the menu 😂 They allow dogs inside too which was great. Terrace and outside space looked good, although the weather wasn't that great so we didn't use it. Staff were really friendly, attentive and service was excellent. Thank you Croust Hut. Unfortunately, I don't live in Cornwall and we were just passing through, otherwise I'd be back here all the time 😊 Will recommend to friends and family that...

Very pleasant cafe to meet and eat, dedicated staff. With a large carpark and the beautiful grounds of the King Edward Mine with many nature rich footpaths, green spaces and woods with much tree planting and wildlife renewal. On top of that it is next to one of the best Cornish Mining Museums in Cornwall and the centre of the extensive Mineral Tramways footpath and bridleway way network exploring the beautiful Treslothan moors, church and Common woodlands. An area famous for the poetry of 19th mining and landscape poet John Harris. How many cafe/restaurants can beat that!

Lovely place, welcoming look inside and with the outside seating next to the old mine building. Friendly staff, good cake (really important obviously 😂) and a fab choice of drinks, hot or cold. We didn't try anything other than the cake and cold drink, but I've heard good things about the food from friends and family too. We don't have a dog, but there were a couple nearby who got treats from the waitress too, so definitely dog friendly! Also really nice to see a fresh smelling clean toilet facitility!

The best cafe/restaurant I’ve been to in ages! It was so good we went for breakfast yesterday and went back today for lunch! The hot drinks are next level with a huge range of unique flavours, I had the Black Forest mocha pictured below. The veggie breakfast was brilliant. And we recommend the Korean fried waffle with tofu, which was an insane creation of sweet and spicy (trust me!). The spiced fries are also delicious. Can’t wait to go back soon. The staff are lovely and very attentive.
