We had our first visit to this incredible pub this weekend after moving to the village 2 months ago Oh my goodness ! What a hidden gem , the atmosphere is so incredible , so homely and welcoming , it was evident that the landlord Phil takes so much time to get to know every customer by name . Such a lovely guy and his wife Teresa who does the cooking (didnāt get to meet her because she was busy cooking ) but oh my lord ! It was the best Sirloin steak Iāve eaten in years , and I am a proper steak snob if itās not done properly ! My hubby had the spicy lasagne and was amazed at how tasty all the home cooked food was ! Proper chips and not a frozen oven chip in sight ! Cannot recommend this little pub any higher We will be back very soon and Teresa needs a huge Michelin star for her...

Menu is varied, TVs not too intrusive and a good selection of drinks including the local gin. Take plenty of cash as they do not take cards.
