The Dolphin Inn — Restaurant in England

A small group of us were camping nearby. We called in to escape the rain. Very glad we did. Service was excellent. Prices very reasonable in post lockdown Britain .Plenty of seating available inside and out and all under cover. My group of friends are Welsh, so it was our first opportunity to have a drink indoors since March. Wales is still only allowed to serve outdoors. The customers were very friendly as were the hosts.The new way of paying and getting served was easy to understand. Hand sanitiser was provided and indeed compulsory on admission. Social distancing was maintained and cleanliness was immaculate. A great pub in every way. I certainly hope to...

Newly taken over by its longest serving staff member and back to its old community atmosphere.

There is a huge garden where they welcome families. They have good variety for the kids. Dog friendly! With free treats available on the bar for their furry friends.

Easy to access from the Bristol to Bath cycle path so perfect for people who are passing to grab refreshments.

They have Sky Sports for those of you that want to watch the Grand Prix or footie and it feels like 3000 TVs around the pub 🤣

Regular DJ every 2 weeks on a Friday, bands almost every Saturday and are starting a quiz on Thursdays...

The pub was great for karaoke on Friday.

Prices of coke was a little steep at £3.25 a pint which is more than I pay at other venues I karaoke at but given it's a comfy well cared for pub I can accept the higher price.

Hope to visit again if they get the same person running...
