Arrived on a Sunday 12 March at 2.30pm no clean tables, we moved stuff from 1 table to another to sit down. There was dirty stuff on every table, no one was clearing up. No staff looked up or came to welcome us - they were too busy chatting behind the counter and in the kitchen. Managed to find a menu went to counter to order was ignored, then reluctantly a young girl came to help us. Coffees came but werent very hot and we drank them before the food arrived. Food order took 30 mins to come - 2 toasted sandwiches and 1 ham egg & chips it was ok. Whilst we were eating, 2 girls were clearing tables and used so much spray to clean the tables which filled the air with fumes to breathe in.... my husband said about it but she carried on. They then noisily dragged tables and chairs to put them back to separate tables - not what you want when you're trying to enjoy a late lunch as a family. They then moaned as they were missing a salt pot, but didn't really care. We were going to have cake - but only 2 pieces left on a plate on the counter that didnt look appertising along with dirty empty plates. The first time of visiting thought it would be a nice treat for us -not very impressed. Not sure we would visit again, which is a pity as we are local - I'm not going to rush back - what does it take to smile - its a free thing that didn't happen...

This is the second time we have eaten here in the last 6 weeks. On our first visit we had a Chicken Caesar salad which had marrow in it instead of cucumber ... When we told the staff they said they were home grown cucumbers ... No sorry ... They were little marrows, with tough and very bitter skins. We grown them on our allotment so know what we are talking about. This time we ordered toasted sandwiches ... Brie, bacon and cranberry and a cheese and onion, sounded delicious. The bacon was hard and overcooked, the edges of the sandwiches were rock hard and overcooked and half of the chips were solid and inedible. We left without giving feed back this time. The prices are not cheap here, and we really don't mind paying a little more, just for the setting, the staff at front of house are lovely, especially the older lady, but we do expect a higher standard of food than we have personally...

It seems like a really good cafe. Clean, with a great view from indoor and outdoor seating. Love the fact you can bring your dog. However I visited this cafe during lunch period on a Thursday 21 July 22, and it took 40 mins to get a Veg Burger (around £15 for a Burger and a can of coke), even though it was not busy. No reassurance from the wait staff to confirm it is coming as I was getting a feeling they might have forgotten to put the order through to the kitchen. When the burger did come, it was quite basic for my liking but that's a personal preference, could offer extra toppings like onions, avocado, mushrooms etc. However, the french fries it came with were cold and undercooked. As if they were fried well in advance and left out. This was my first visit to the cafe, so ofcourse the 40 mins wait and cold undercooked fries might be a one off. So I will be visiting again...

This was our first time visiting today and we will be back soon! Easy parking, and you go up a short flight of stairs to reach the cafe (there's also a lift if you need it) The ladies working today were absolutely fabulous, so friendly and helpful, our reserved table was in the middle of the room, but we were moved to a window seat so we could see planes take off. The food was served very fast and it was so fresh and delicious. I had the halloumi burger with chilli jam and fries, and my daughter had sausage, eggs and fries, (big meaty sausages) 10 out of 10 for location, service and food. This cafe is also dog friendly, there's a basket with towels in when you first enter the building so if your dog is wet you can give him/her a rub down!

I recently visited the Flight Deck Cafe in Turweston and had a great experience. The cafe offers a fantastic view of the aerodrome, allowing guests to observe airplanes landing and taking off—a real treat for aviation enthusiasts. The staff was friendly and provided a good service. The food exceeded my expectations: the English breakfast was tasty and abundant! The only aspect that could be improved upon were the chairs, as I found them to be quite uncomfortable. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this cafe for breakfast and lunch; it's an overall great place to dine.

Lovely location to stop for breakfast and watch the planes. Service was a little slow but this may have been down to what looked like new staff. Full English was great - really good locally sourced sausages and bacon, and proper butter (half the tomatoes had been eaten by my husband before I managed to get a photo!) Avocado and bacon on toast also good, especially with the chilli jam. My only quibble was that the menu specified doorstep toast and the actual toast was normal sliced bread thickness. Well worth a visit.
