Used Four Alls a few months ago for a family meal an enjoyable meal / drinks ambience was had , so it was an obvious choice when travelling up from the south coast to visit family and friends in Market Drayton , after some initial confusion about our arrival time ( our fault ) we check in easily and quickly and shown to our room which is lovely and clean , although a little chilly , the house keeper explained that she had only just switched the heating on , as I feel the cold I asked if I could have an extra blanket the house keeper informed me there wasn’t any Hmmm ? Off into Drayton to met up with friends & family a meal and a few drinks leaving Drayton at 845 my wife and I was looking forward to a couple of snifters in the bar , then off to bed looking forward to a full English in the morning and our drive back to the south coast .We arrive back at the Alls 10 mins later only to find the pub in total darkness and SHUT ! read the the small print it closes at 5 on Sundays ! Bring your own if require a night cap ! On the plus side the room is lovely and warm we make a cuppa and settle down to watch ‘ celebrity‘ only because we can’t get a drink ! … I discover my bed side light does not work small problem ?definitely is but it’s basic tick box ………check lighting works ……… and so to bed … the door blind is not a black out blind so with lights out ( the one that does work) its lighter in side from the lights outside , top tip hang your clothes on the door blind it helps darken the room ,then a major problem I’m wondering if the owner has ever tried the the bed (s) I’m guessing never as he/she would of changed them immediately! Greece is the universal god of Un sleepable beds in the world ……… however the 4 Alls is without doubt the Champions League winner of the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on ! Having visited Greece about 50 times in the last 25 years we speak with professional experience , so at 4am in the morning having grabbed about 2 hours sleep ( sic) we pack up and head home forfitting the full English ! Needless to say we WILL NOT BE BACK which is really sad because you have a beautiful place just failing on the most important things THE BASICS and a GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP ! ( I don’t require a...

Read moreWe stopped overnight after attending a family party nearby. |The welcome from Holly was warm and first impressions were positive. |Car park is gravel so can be challenging to walk on, especially for people with limited mobility. |We had a meal in the evening and this was nice. The steak in my pie was tender and the scampi for the hubby was nicely cooked. No lighting on the path to the room wand we struggled to identify our room. Motion sensors on the lights outside the room would be beneficial. |The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. Mattress was not comfortable for my liking and the pillows a bit flat. No road noise could be heard as the rooms were set back from the road. I was gutted the bathrooms had been updated so there was only a shower. Water press was quite poor so the shower was no particularly powerful. Nozzles on one of the sprays was blocked. Cobwebs in the corner had been missed. Would like the toilet paper to be on a roll which is easy to access. (It was behind when sat on the toilet) |Good choice of usb plugs in the room. Room was pleasantly warm, in the cooler evening. Hubby said he could hear the units in the Kitchen area at night. I didn’t hear it until we left the room to go to breakfast. |Reasonable breakfast, toast/cereals and then a full English. I would prefer a pot for my tea (that’s my mum’s influence) |Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, decent bacon and sausage. |Staff were pleasant. This little hotel has so much potential to be a...
