Me and my partner have had such a lovely time at this pub. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. They offered to make me an omelette which was off menu as I’m gluten free which I really appreciated. The food was delicious!
We had our toddler with us who throughly enjoyed running around in the garden playing with the vintage cars and the old tank. It was such a lovely environment for him to have play in and a lovely afternoon outing. The staff were very happy to host our bouncy toddler and we all felt very welcome.

Not you fancy Nancy, 1 potato and 1/2 a carrot sort of pub so if you’re pompous and fussy then probably better go visit a Marco or Gordon restaurant! Read moreI do not know what has changed behind the scenes, but over a year ago the food was absolutely amazing and fully justified the gourmet prices charged. Now? The meat dishes are good, but not brilliant. The potatoes, vegetables and sides no longer taste fresh and are distinctly average or below. And the accompaniments? Watery, tasteless gravies and poor side sauces in keeping with the level of service from the staff.
