Came upon this place for somewhere for a meal. Contacted via Facebook and response was excellent. It’s a great, convenient location with a nice beer garden. The pub is under new management. The staff were lovely, very friendly but still getting into the swing of things. The food was pub grub, I had grilled chicken with salad which was exactly as I had ordered due to food allergy. My daughter had a burger but she wasn’t impressed with the quality of the burger served. Chips were good. Husband had scampi, he was pleased, portions were good. The sweet potato fries could do with a much longer cooking time but again a good portion. My husband also had cheesy garlic bread - there was loads and it was lovely! The pub is in need of TLC, lots!! The coffee was very nice in fab mugs. Overall a good pub with, as I’ve said, new management so hopefully in time the pub will get the makeover it needs and an efficient team...
Read moreThe Full Pitcher is a great place to grab a carvery, or a pint in the Ledbury area.
The food is very nice with a huge variety of vegetables on the carvery. They offer a vegetarian alternative and the veg portions are very generous.
There's great prices on carvery, and cake and ice-cream and the homemade cakes are out of this world. You HAVE to check out the honeycomb cake and their cheesecakes!!
The drinks are reasonably priced (from what I've seen, I don't drink much).
The staff are super friendly and always down for a chat and are more than happy to help with anything you need.
The atmosphere is nice, not too noisy even when full with kids. For kids there's a play area outside and a private area of grass for outdoor seating with picnic tables.
There's a new car park being built and offers shelters for bicycles too which is great!
You have to check this out if you're...
Read moreI took my daughter and a friend for carvery yesterday to celebrate my friend's birthday. The carvery was the worst I have eaten, anywhere. We chose beef and pork, we were not given a single slice, the carver shredded meat crumbs off the side of the joints, scooped up more crumbs from the serving plate and handed us a plate of nothing but shredded meat crumbs. The roast potatoes had inedible leathery skins. When the waitress asked how our meal was and I explained about not being given a single piece of meat in the form of a slice, and about the potatoes, she explained that the meat was overdone and they had difficulties keeping the potatoes under the light. If they know they have these problems, why not rectify them before offering them to paying customers? I've eaten carvery here before, it's not usually this poor, but I wouldn't risk my money on...
