Deserves 4 stars for the quality of their food, it's very good and reasonably priced with a decent selection. Friendly owners who were helpful in finding me a suitable spot for my van in bad weather. The field is nice and flat with electric hook up points.

Ladies toilets and the shower could do with updating but for a short stay were ok to get by with.

My main problem was the resident colli that is allowed to wonder, unfortunately she was also in season and took a shine to my male dog. Although I returned her to the pub a few times I was unable to allow my dog to sit outside once the rain stopped as she kept returning even jumping at my side door which ment I also had to close the blind and sit in the dark so she couldn't see us. It didn't make my time there as relaxing as hoped. There was also quite a few piles of doggy doo...

Visiting the local area and thought we would stop for some food and a pint. I understand with covid that we have alot of rules in place at the moment. We did our track and trace and wore our masks. I simply went to the toilet upstairs and when i came back down the stairs the barman was waiting. He then started getting quite rude and repetitive because i had'nt seen the sign saying 'no entry'. I said a few times that i was 'really sorry' and eventually just walked off before i lost my temper. I understand we have rules? But your toilet was working? And if we cant go upatairs to use the toilet after spending money and time within your buisness due to corona? Why not politely inform customers where they can use the loo? And if there isnt a toilet for customers then why are...

Stopped here for dinner on a Sunday evening, and that's the first positive - hardly anywhere in the vicinity is actually open on Sunday evenings. The landlord was extremely welcoming and there was a normal menu, specials, and a vegetarian menu to choose from. The open fire was roaring and there was a lovely friendly doggo. The pub is beautiful outside with a garden and fairy lights, it's a bit shabby inside but perfectly clean. The food servings were absolutely massive. I had the veggie burger and chips. There were actually two burgers, both deep fried, and a mountain of chips (too many). There was also a good serving of fresh salad. I'd have preferred a baked veggie burger although that's personal taste I admit. My husband had the pork loin...

Walked all the way from Pewsey with my daughter and baby in a pram, through treacherous winding roads, on a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon only to find out it was closed. Imagine being closed on a Saturday afternoon, on one of the hottest days of the year so far. Also imagine having a campsite in your back garden and not having the pub open, you're literally ignoring a potential money printer. They didn't even bother to update their Google maps listing. I checked online before departure and it had no warning of being closed. Absolute joke, if you can't join the rest of us in 2023, then there's no shock your business is failing. Also Wadworth pub, says it all.

Really lovely pub with fantastic staff. We came on a pizza and steak night, we tried both and they were really good. I chose the cut off meat and how much and it was cooked to order. The pizza wad cooked in an outside oven and was really tasty! There is a good selection of draught beers. There's a fair of bit of space inside but this pub is great to be experienced on a nice day where there is lots of outdoor space in a quiet village setting.

What a fantastic place: a traditional, old-fashioned English pub in a lovely little village with a campsite. I've stayed here a couple of times for long weekends with a group of Enduro motorcycle riders, using their facilities. The food is great, and the staff are very pleasant, friendly, and polite. It's a very relaxed and chilled place. I would definitely recommend this as a cool place to stay. Enjoy! Cheers, Vince 🍻👍
