The Greyhound At Bagby — Restaurant in England

We visited as a family of 6 adults for lunch. The place is lovely, the staff are very friendly and approachable. There is a great selection of starters and they are generous portions. The home made bread was very tasty. There was plenty of choice for main dishes, vegetarian s and vegans catered for. All dishes were beautifully cooked and nicely presented. We really enjoyed everything and were full, but the desserts menu persuaded 4 of us. Crème brulle was the best my mum has ever had. The sticky toffee was the best my husband had ever had. The chocolate fudge cake I had was incredible and I am very picky about chocolate cake. They also served a gorgeous melon sorbet. We enjoyed it so much we are going back to try the Sunday lunches. Took a drive to the white horse at Kilburn and stopped at the Greyhound at Bagby. Had we been 30 mins earlier we would not have got a table as they get booked up on a Sunday. The pub is tastefully decorated and cosy, the food was well presented, high quality and very tasty! We had the deep fried brie to start and roast dinners (one pork one beef) the service was friendly and attentive. They care a lot about their customers which gets my vote! we'll definitely be calling in again on our next visit to Kilburn to scale the white horse - worth doing if your fit enough, otherwise drive to the airfield at the top and walk across to the head of the horse! Visited the Greyhound on 30th Nov . The food was delicious nicely cooked and presented. The staff very attentive and friendly and owner / manager also waited on. The Greyhound is very well appointed and ,tables well spaced not on top of each other spacious is the word. Been here a few times and can wholeheartedly recommend, though gets busy I prefer early doors .
