I whould like to review our stay on the (30.05.2021 ). 20.00pm We arrived 4adults +1child. Myself and my wife hand no face covering as we are exempt ,the other couple with us had face covering.

As we waited at the main entrance for a table we were confronted by a blond female bartender pointing at me :"where is your face mask"? In a rude tone.I replied to her :"we are exempt".

Very quickly after, a young Asian manager arrived ,clearly alarmed by the fellow staff. Rather then saying hello and asking if we are exepmt ,and trying to sit us down,he states :"if I have a problem he has the power to not let me it". I replied that we simply are exempt and happy to sit inside or outside, and the way we are treated is inappropriate.

Shortly after he clearly though he is giving us a favour and sat us down at a table. Waitres arrived ,took our order clearly doesn't know the word upsell ,and should practice smiling alot more . Food arrived after 20min it was average fast food .Through out the whole dinning time no one checked back us,asked for more drinks, not even leave napkins with meals. We asked for bill very quickly once we finished. Overall this place was awfull Has no idea about customer services and dinning experience. People working in there lack of good manners and knowledge of running a restaurant or any management...

I have walked past this place a few times and wanted to try. I found a leaflet that had also been posted when I first moved into the area and realised they serve indian cuisine, which I do really enjoy. So my partner and I booked a table. The building is really nicely decorated and kept clean and tidy. It is a mix of modern decor with lovely dated beams. The outdoor area, while we didn't sit outside due to rain, is well presented and would be lovely to sit in the summer. The food was delicious, and despite wanting to finish every bite, I couldn't quite do it. You get more than you realise and we were nicely filled - and we only had mains with 2 sides to share. Staff cleared the tables quickly and it didn't take too long for the food to come out. My only gripes were a) how expensive the drinks are. The food was great value for money but over £10 for 2 drinks was a bit much! And b) no one came back to ask us how everything was - nothing was wrong with our food fortunately, but I think it's pretty standard and polite just to pop back to the table and ensure that everything is okay, not assume it is.

Other than that, I enjoyed the experience. I would eat again but will stick to a soft drink or...

This place is very, very average. We tried here for the first time. Firstly, prices are about £3 more than what is stated on their website, and in my opinion very overpriced for the small portions you get. Drinks also very pricey Veggie mixed grill was overcooked and dry. They clearly use just cheap chopped frozen veg in their vegetable curry, spring rolls etc. Food was extremely spicy, some of it unbearable. Only thing I properly enjoyed was the nan bread - which was very nice! Maybe it is because we are from Birmingham and are used to very good Indians and grills (such as the Copper Fox, Harborne) , but this is not a patch on anything else we've had and also much more expensive for worse food. Maybe they get away with it given there's not anything similar in Telford and not the greatest for indians! We wouldn't mind the prices if the food quality matched. Overall, we ate the food, it was ok but I won't...

This is one of those cruelly underapprecited gems in totally the wrong place. We'd set out for something totally different, but when that one was closed our friends suggested the hop and vine. The pub is beautiful inside and out, the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble we had a young baby in our group and they didn't bat an eyelid (as some places can be a bit stuffy against kids!). The food arrived quickly and was piping hot and fresh. Everything was perfect, not a single thing to mark down atall. A lot of effort and money has clearly gone into this place to make it as successful as possible. We will be back (two of our party are already regulars). All the best guys, and thanks for a perfect meal!

Mixed Grill We regularly visit this mixed grill pub. It has been renovated to a very modern standard with lots of tv screens in the bar area. This is always good for watching football and boxing. The food is very tasty and i always get the mixed grill, I would recommend the chilli paneer as a side dish as well. My wife is vegetarian and loves this place. There is ample ample parking at the back and a smoking area outside. There is also a seating area which is nice in the summer. The bar area does tend to get busy and loud, however you can sit in the resturant area where is quieter.
