Stayed for 1 night at the premier inn next door with my husband and 3 children, booked and paid for breakfast when booking the room online, arrived for breakfast at 9.30 Sunday morning to be told by a staff member to just sit wherever we could find a seat, walked around for a few minutes unable to find a spare table eventually we all squeezed round a small table full of dirty plates as table hadn’t been cleaned, made our way over to get our breakfast to find there was absolutely nothing left on the hot cooked breakfast buffet, there was also no fruit, no croissants and no pancakes left my children were very disappointed as they always look forward to a premier inn breakfast as they love the croissants and pancakes and the huge variety premier inns usually offer, there was nothing for them to eat but toast and jam, I asked the gentleman on the counter if they would be replenishing the pastries and pancakes to be be told it would be a 40 minute wait this was a LIE a lady shortly came out after as said I would wait to be told there was actually nothing left, this is the most shocking breakfast I’ve ever experienced at a premier inn staff were miserable no apology for the lack of food they did in the end bring out some hot food but it was a bit of a wait and there was a massive que of people waiting, tables weren’t cleaned there was no cutlery had to go hunting ourselves for clean cutlery when complained to reception was just told the place is up for sale and there is a lack of staff that’s not the customers problem when paying over £10 per person for breakfast and there’s no food disgusting place would...

Paid for the meal deal for the evening meal and breakfast. The evening meal had a lot to be desired. There was quite a wait on food. We ordered two lots of fish and chips and the tikka curry. 2 ice cream Sundaes for dessert and nachos for starter. The fish batter was soggy and the fish itself mushy inside. The chips served were skin on fries and not proper chips as advertised. The curry was not too bad but the poppadom was like eating soggy paper. With the level of service we didn't dare complain. The ice cream sundaes were fine. The service by some of the members of staff here is really what let the place down. Dreadful attitude and personality meant ordering was both frustrating and embarrassing. We were not the only ones who had problems with orders and seating. The staff were very uninterested and looked like they could not be bothered. Made to feel like an inconvenience. I would definitely avoid if you want a more pleasant and enjoyable experience. Clearly short staffed and the new members were not being trained properly. The breakfast was standard for premier inn, no real problems but then when your seating and serving yourself you avoid all those problems that come with a potential server. Usually try to find some positives with a review but there really was nothing redeeming about this restaurant which would be better not existing. Even the queue for the bar drinks was slow and closed at 10.30pm on a bank holiday...

I went in and asked for a table for 2 the lady took us to our table she was polite and squeezed us in as it was busy .I had to wait 10 mins to order the food which we paid by card.i ordered and took drinks back to the table this was at 8pm We then waited 1and 1/2 hours . I asked the girls who were serving on floor and behind the bar why our food hadn't come as a couple of customers further behind me in que had got food before the groups of people before us too. The chef had come out to one of tables and gave them an open bottle of wine as gesture for the meals not being served on time and had said the food wasn't going to be long . We are extremely disappointed as we had to ask for our money back as by 2145 they hadn't even started to make our meals or infact several other tables it wasn't the serving staffs fault as they were trying their best and the chef should have comminacated the timing of the orders coming out and not told them the food was getting made when it obviously wasn't..This place has gone downhill used to love coming here I don't think we'll...
