The Huntsman — Restaurant in England

This is a direct response to the latest review as a member of staff.........Yes we look after our regulars why wouldn’t we....but they are treated no different to any other paying customer. New years eve is a ticket only event allowing us to limit occupancy so that our customers are not crammed in like sardines...this is one reason amongst many other factors that we have to take into account. We charge for New Year’s Eve like 99% of other establishments, with the evening being ticket only this stops unwanted passing trouble makers from entering and ruining the night for the people that have paid for their night out. No where on the ticket did it state a Vegas night! The group playing have previously played at a last Vegas themed night we held that is all. New Year’s Eve, as most people appreciate, is the most expensive night of the year and by charging a ticket price this enables us to provide decent entertainment for our customers....we can’t please everyone.........and finally... WE DO NOT TOLLERATE UNDERAGE DRINKING AT ANYTIME OF THE YEAR......which is why you were watched closely after we found out you were supplying someone alcohol who...

I have been a regular customer to the huntsman for over 15 years. It's the most friendliest pub I know. I always have a great time when I go in there, whether it be on my own or with friends. I always feel welcome and part of the family. The band's are amazing every Friday and Sunday and very consistent,so you know if you want a good night out,you know a great place to go. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent customer service with a smile and a great sense of humour (that's what makes pubs great to visit) to let your hair down and enjoy your night,instead of having someone miserable serve you (I've experienced this in so many other local pubs). Going onto the food, it's just delicious,cooked from fresh everyday,great value for money , and served in a good timely manner. Would really recommend the huntsman,it's the BEST pub in...

Popped in here randomly as I was in the area and had to take my lunch break early! Google Pub! 0.8 miles away.. woo!

Walked in and the lady behind the bar was friendly warm and smiley. The pub had about 6 people in but that's expected at this time of day. Ordered a drink sat down and another staff member took my food order- friendly warm and just great!!

I ordered Stove Top Cowboy Beef Chilli- jacket.

Dude! This was great.. I wanted to take a photo but I ate it too fast! Hooray to this place- tasted homely and just what I needed. No criticisms here. This is a place I would come to again and will tell people about.. what a find!!
