We visited The King’s Arms for dinner. The pub was quite busy and had a lovely atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, served drinks at the bar and taken to our table. The restaurant was quiet with a calm atmosphere and beautifully decorated. The staff were all friendly and attentive, we had a little wait for our food, but not too long. It was well worth waiting for! Delicious, hot and freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. The portions were a good size, we even managed dessert too! The Kings Arms is well worth a visit, I would recommend booking a table so you are not disappointed. We will be returning again soon.

Lovely village pub, nice atmosphere, great staff, lovely food. We visited early evening, the pub was busy, the restaurant was still fairly quiet. The restaurant has a lovely feel with a mix of stone walls and plaster and some nice lighting giving it a modern feel yet retaining the character and charm. The staff were friendly and welcoming and attentive. Food was very tasty, the menu gives enough choice for most people. Highly recommended a visit and certainly will return again in the near future.

They were really busy here but it was cosy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Had a fab roast- yummy spuds, well cooked vegetables and perfectly cooked rib of beef that melted in your mouth. Gravy and cauliflower cheese were also good- crucial! Apparently it’s recently changed hands so we were pleased the standards are still high. The beef bourguignon is also very good apparently. Also reasonably priced. If we lived in the area we would defo be back!

Welcomed by friendly staff to reserved table for family celebration. Food was good quality for pub food and each dish enjoyed by all the family members. However, one starter was not served and had to be reordered from kitchen. At time of payment manager informed me that I had not been charged for the starter that was missed. On returning home I checked my bill to find that I had in fact been charged for all the starters! To add insult to injury I then also noticed that I had been charged for a large glass of SVB that was never ordered or consumed at our...

Over all good. But a few things could be done to take it to the next level. Great family and dog friendly pub. Lots of events. Pool table etc. Nice clean garden and toilets. Can get very very busy at times. Excellent big screens to watch football and other sports. Burger and chips very good although if they let burger sit and drain before serving would be excellent. Warm plates would be another bit to inprove the service. Also they stopped doing Newcastle Brown . Excellent friendly pub with great selection of food wines and beers. Would recommend this...
