We came unplanned for a meal at the Kings Arms and were hopeful to get some nice pub food following the reviews. But we got so much more and the specials were absolutely amazing. The squid was delicious and the seafood linguine belongs in a premium Italian restaurant, the meal was fantastic! I forgot to mention the Apple and Blackberry crumble was also delicious, naturally sweet and just a nice amount of crumble accompanied with delicious custard and extra ice cream. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was very welcoming and charming and even the locals were polite and friendly and no loud or unruly pub type behaviour we often suffer up in the mainland. I highly recommend visiting The Kings Arms and we will be back very soon for sure.

Update: we're back already, had to visit the rest of the specials menu and loved the steak pie and Sirloin! The beef was perfectly cooked in both dishes, the pie gravy was rich and velvety and the peppercorn sauce was absolutely delicious. Be warned though, portions are large so consider getting a small portion of it's an option and you are having a starter or interested in dessert also. And mentioning desserts, they all seem great. I mentioned the crumble and the ice cream is premium Cornish fair, had to have another portion tonight. Thanks again to all at...

The Kings Arms excels in both service and quality. The staff are efficient and friendly, always providing professional and prompt service. The facilities are immaculate, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers a variety of traditional pub dishes, all prepared with evident care and skill.

their lasagna, which is exceptionally good, and the fish and chips, arguably the best we've ever had—cooked to absolute perfection.

The atmosphere of The Kings Arms is another highlight. It is incredibly cosy, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment that is perfect for any occasion. Despite the high quality of food and service, the prices remain reasonable, offering excellent value for money.

Overall, The Kings Arms is a standout pub that combines great food, a warm atmosphere, and stellar service. It comes highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy traditional pub fare in a friendly and...

I have now eaten here twice and I really feel like I want to leave a review which is something that I don't normally do.... The service is first class and the food is absolutely brilliant.. the two young men who waited on our table were really friendly, polite and they made sure that me and my Mrs enjoyed our stay with them... The food was exceptional, from the tasty, fresh and excellently presented starter, through to the last mouth watering end of the desert, it was all first class... I honestly never knew that pub food could be this good at nearly 9pm on a Saturday evening.. the price was very reasonable too, well worth every penny..... Thanks so much for a wonderful experience... We will...

We had the extended family (12 people) to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday at the Kings Arm. Darren and his team decorated a private room for us and I requested a dark chocolate and whiskey for the occasion. It was a warm, cosy and intimate setting for all of us on a cold winter night. The food was fresh and delicious. The dark chocolate and whiskey cake as a great hit for everyone! A great local pub in Tregony.

What an amazing find, a little gem. Just turned off the main road and stopped at the first place we found - and very glad we did. It was quiet (being right at the end of lunch service) and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good honest food (best batter on a pub fish and chips we've had in years) and reasonably priced. WARNING though... The banana waffle dessert is enormous! 😀

Fantastic family pub...dog friendly and clean facilities. High quality of pub grub with local ingredients at a fair price. But it's crowning glory has to be the dessert menu... real top notch pudding to make the mouth water! Will always come back when in Cornwall
