My wife and I were on vacation in September and visiting my dad's ancestral homeland and towns all across Europe. When we got to Romaldkirk we saw the old church and cemetery, so I wanted to see if I could find any names of my forefathers. So, we parked on the gravel portion in front of the Kirk Inn and went to investigate the cemetery. A few minutes later my wife calls me that someone had pulled up and I can here him talking to her in a very, very rude and condescending voice. When I walked up and he started on me about the way I parked the car, I was supposed to pull in straight not laterally. I explained my situation and apologized for I did not know that was his policy and I was just leaving.He then began using condescending words and said I needed to have more respect and learn how to park. I told him I understood and that we were leaving, he still continued to berate me and I had to tell him that was enough and I was leaving. The rudest person of all England. The pub is small and had so much character, Paul the owner was very friendly and chatted to us the whole time we were there.
