The Loco — Restaurant in England

Just had a lovely 2 night stay at The Loco. Ziggy and Karen along with all the staff are so welcoming and friendly and Ziggy giving us snippets of the history of Haxey for us to explore. We had an Indian next door on the first night, food and service was excellent and the onion bhaji are the best I’ve had 😋 Breakfast was cooked to order with generous round of toast and fresh pot of tea & quality coffee. This place is not loved by its owner. Not a single pool cue is useable, the pool table is wonky and rarely returns balls as it should.... if you're one of 5 regulars perched at the bar then you'll be fine if not just pass this one (but maybe not to the Duke William as it has the same owner apparently.. needs confirming).

I went in to order an Indian takeaway from the restaurant Saffron on to one side of the Loco, I nipped through to the loco for a pint while I was waiting for my food. What a fantastic atmosphere.
