Super cool Inn with lovely Owners and waiters! We went there for having dinner during our road trip to Cornwall. The beer is good, the chats are lovely and we also had awesome fish & chips! They have a wall written full of cool jokes and you can meet the locals there for a chat or two. At the same time you‘re not forced to particiate any conversation so if you want to stay on your own, they‘ll of course leave you alone. Which is pure awesome. You can have whatever you want at that Inn, foodwise and socialwise. greetings from southern Germany :D

Traditional pub with 2 clean and comfortable letting rooms, in Veryan one of the many pretty villages of Roseland. Great service, great cornish ale and good pub food. Ideal for a long weekend break, or to tour roseland. Sunday lunch is particularly good. Must walk to Portloe 1.6 miles away. Visit St Maws, Malpas, Mevagissey Carn beach......and too many other lovely places to mention. Dog friendly too.

A awesome village pub with some typical well-cooked dishes! We enjoyed our dinner here so came back again for lunch in the same week. They have an extensive menu, all the pub classics and great service. Dogs are welcome. They have a few tables out front, no garden but the road is quiet so that’s not a problem. Would recommend!

I can't comment on the B&B, it was temporarily closed for a change management! But after many years at the helm, Colin and Suzanne have handed the reins to Kara and Bobby. We were fortunate enough to be visiting on their first evening. We received a warm welcome and felt right at home immediately. We easily struck up conversation with the locals in the bar, and before long, we were all belting out our favourite songs and the complimentary pasties (due to the kitchen being closed on their first night), were washed down with a few glasses of Rattler! A high light of the evening was a solo rendition of 'Cornwall My Home' by Craig, who is actually the landlord of The Blue Anchor, Fraddon (another pub well worth a visit!) Despite his insistence that he can't sing, we loved it.. think Cornish fisherman's choir. I have no doubt that Kara and Bobby will do a fantastic job of keeping The New Inn at the heart of the community for years to come! We look forward to...

The New Inn at Veryan has one of the best atmospheres, with unique but traditional decor and a real classic British Pub feel. As well as ensuring the atmosphere is calming, the small details such as parts from an old horse and cart add to the charm of this pub. The food is of excellent value, and they give you the option to choose from 2 different portion sizes, which I think is very good. The menu has something for everyone, ranging from beef or vegetarian chilli con carne, to classic ham, egg and chips. The service is exceptional, with very friendly staff who clearly enjoy their job. When there was a small delay with our food, the person serving us recognised the issue and apologised, but even so, the wait was only about 40 minutes from our order to our main. Typically, the wait would be about 20 minutes, which is extremely good. We have visited this pub many times and would not hesitate to...
