The Northfield — Restaurant in England

We have literally just left her When walking in.. it was the weirdest atmosphere we have ever walked into… It had a eery feel about it… Service wasn’t the best if I’m honest! Bar maid probably was new and didn’t seem to have a clue about customer service! It felt soo awkward in there and very out dated We sat down and had to question if we should stay even for the drink, We decided too because no where else was going food at 18:40 on the area., Order the food, menu was very over priced for steaks ect.. £3.75 approx for a steak sauce haha If you wanted surf and turf you had pay £7.95 approx extra Lmao steak with sauce and scampi was nearly £40! I order chicken burger and asked if the onions are on the burger/ with the salad.. you don’t get salad you only get lettuce and tomatoes They did say they would put some on.. but I had ask for salad being onions lol We were at this point worried about the standard of food, HOWEVER The food was really nice! Didnt book, just went in great selection of food, we chose meals off the special board.meals which r off the special list they r 2 for £13 .0 there r burgers ,steaks, chicken, vegy meals most served with chips or new potatoes peas n salad .everything was cooked from frwsh we had a short wait but it was worth it .The beef lasagne was beautiful loads of beef kevin had garlic bread with it , ate the lot lol.Our gammon ,egg ,pineapple ,chips peas nmushrooms n salad.was 1 of the best iv ever eaten 3 of us had that.clean plates all round My grandson had a double cheese burger n chips it was enormous the burgers were fresh beef n half inch thick each .this was the best sit down family meal we have ever had highly recommend it for couple or family...

Drinks very well priced. Food priced fairly and all home cooked and very tasty. Portions generous. Restaurant was very hot, asked for a/c to be put on which went off within a few seconds, had to ask again but was put on lowest setting, so still very hot, so unfortunately we had to leave. If not so hot & a/c was better we would have stayed for...
