So first off, I never ate food here... It was a pit stop from a coastal hike I had just finished and in the way back to the car. However, I wish I would've come back to eat. The first thing you need to know is that this is a seafood place... And the sea food they cook is literally offloaded from the dock just a few yards away... It doesn't get fresher!! My wife had the crab bisque and she said it was just terrific...a definite 5 star. The restaurant itself is kind of tucked into a grotto of sorts right off the street. It has a lot of character. I wish I had had the fish and chips... Perhaps next time!

A charming seaside gem This small restaurant by the harbor is a hidden gem. It has a special charm, with lovely sea views and a calm, cozy atmosphere. I ordered the mussels and they were simply incredible — super fresh, plump, and perfectly cooked, served in a delicious sauce that begged to be soaked up with bread. The service was warm and friendly, and you can really feel the care put into every dish. Perfect for a relaxed meal with an authentic taste of the sea. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious, authentic food and friendly staff. They have a general menu with scampi and burgers and then their specials menu has amazing quality fish dishes. We chose the sea bass but could easily have had anything in the menu. Cadgwith is a beautiful, small fishing village well worth a visit.

Gorgeous location! Extremely busy so I give this review with some understanding that these things do happen. My mum had the crab sandwich and it was superb. I had the prawn salad and it was not so great. The prawns and salad came with no dressing at all. It was a bowl of prawns and a plate of lettuce and I sat there for 30 minutes before anyone came over or I could get someone’s attention to find out it should’ve come with coleslaw and dressing…they brought the dressing out (after my mum had finished her food and I had eaten half mine out of hunger) but never brought the coleslaw and didn’t really seem bothered by this mistake. I would try this place again as it has wonderful reviews and in a...

Purchased two coffees from The Old Cellars.

Also needed to eat, due to being type 1 diabetic and my sugar levels falling. However, I am vegan and they didn't have any vegan choices on the menu. I therefore had to resort to my own carbohydrate snack I had on me. I was quickly approached by a waitress who said I couldn't eat it.

Despite explaining that it was my only option, she told me I couldn't... apparently because, if I had an allergic reaction (to my own food!!!), they would be responsible.

If you want more people to buy food from you, maybe best not to discriminate...
