The Orchard Inn — Restaurant in England

I hadn't been to The Orchard before but had heard good things, and I'm very pleased to say it lived up to the reports. We went on a Wednesday for their curry night, and it was extremely good. A nice variety of curries that were very tasty. They were also serving the full menu, which some of our party chose from. We all had decent sized portions, although the main menu dishes were definitely bigger. It was incredibly good value as the curries were all buy one get one free. After a day out at the Newt we were famished so stopped off on our way home to the Orchard Inn. We both had the Sunday Roast dinner and asked for both beef and turkey meats. Along with the red cabbage and cauliflower cheese and roasted potatoes, this meal was one of the best meals that we have had this year. The meat was thickly sliced and tender, all of the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The young man and woman who served us were polite and extremely polite to us both. First time at the Orchard and what a nice place it is. Lovely atmosphere in the bar on our arrival and very attentive staff and service throughout the evening. We were a group of 5. 3 had the Chicken curry, 1 had the spicy Sausage and Mash and the last order was for fish and chips. All the dishes looked and tasted good.
