The Pantry at The Grainstore — Restaurant in England

Gorgeous little cafe tucked away at The Grainstore. We had outstanding home-made salt beef sandwiches, super fresh pan pizza, delicious roasted tomato soup with a melty cheese roll, and made from scratch ham, cheese and tomato quiche - we aren’t greedy, promise! There were four of us, and with two desserts to follow, we felt absolutely stuffed. Fairy cakes with cream cheese and blueberry frosting were a hit with the younger crowd, while my husband and I feasted on a home made almond croissant and eco-roasted coffee. Edit: we come here regularly and it’s always delicious with great service. I just had a toasted sandwich with homemade bread, cheese & onion filling, it’s the best toasted sandwich ever! Delicious.

I had a fried egg sandwich, 2 eggs and lovely and fresh brown bread, delicious. My husband had the normal breakfast with everything. I had a side dish of the fried potatoes, they are amazing and I’m reluctant to say too much as everyone will want some!! But they are delicious. They put coleslaw in my food I never asked for mixed in everywhere ruined it for me.

Paid £10 for a jacket potato, can and a tiny piece of chocolate cake.

Got a sarcastic remark for the till attendant and was amazed when I was asked if I want butter for my jacket potatoes…. Like seriously.

Not somewhere, a working man would feel comfortable.
