It is many years since we last visited the Plough. When we arrived there at lunch time today we found that they are just coming to the end of a major refurbishment programme and the kitchen which has been shut for the past seven months had been reopened this morning. This meant that our party was one of the first groups to experience the output of the new kitchen. We were given a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home.
