The Quarry Inn — Restaurant in England

Loved this pub and go often. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is varied and more than adequate. Lovely open fire in cold weather. I returned to edit this because, after the pub was closed for a couple of weeks holiday, we had to try other pubs for our twice weekly meals, and I wanted to say, they could not compare with the Quarry one bit!! By comparison, food elsewhere could not touch either the quality of the Quarry food nor the menu, which is limited in other pubs and extensive in the Quarry. When we visit the Quarry twice a week, we are always assured of a great meal, friendly service and acceptable prices. We often sit for a while after the meal chatting. We always have a wonderful time at the Quarry. A friendly village pub with proper classic pub food cooked as if you're at home. Dave & the team are excellent and always so accommodating. The Quarry also can make some dishes gluten free, including the Sunday roast, which is excellent for my mum who suffers with coeliac disease. I visited the Quarry Inn with my daughter for lunch today. We also took an elderly wheelchair bound friend with us. The staff were very helpful and friendly and ensured we were shown an appropriate entrance for the wheelchair and that we had a suitable table. The pub was very busy today but the food and service were both excellent and we were very satisfied. There was a good selection of "specials" on the board as well as a varied menu sheet.
