Really, so disappointed. Their Social Media page suggests its now a Brasserie but its just basic pub grub and not even that good. All the hype is about their 45 day steak and thats where the hype ends. Anemic 'fries' (see pic) that were not fully cooked and soggy on the inside, and the staff are utterly clueless! There is very little for veggies (as in nothing!!) and no fish either should your taste not be for the meat, meat or meat promotion! The main menu only has 4 things on it and the Specials Board is basically just basic fast food. We came here 4 or 5 years ago and the food was amazing, as was the welcome. That amazing pub / community spirit has completely disintegrated and the food is not much better than McDonalds tbh. Gutted.

A great Morris night at the Queen's Head with a wonderful welcome from the Landlord. He's really making a difference. Excellent ales - I'm afraid we only drank, so can't comment on the food, but the menu looked really tempting and the interior was as welcoming as"mine host". We'll be back.

Great pit stop, another great pub to add to our list of must return to, lovely food, great beer & a brilliant reception. September 2023 a return pit stop just to prove it's just as good & YES it is, I think it may have changed hands but thankfully it is still brilliant, thanks

Booked sunday lunch for my dads 87th birthday only to be told that they were only serving brunch,so ended up having a fried breakfast for sunday lunch. Felt a little misguided as on the website said that they were serving roasts! It is a lovely pub and the lady serving us was very helpful, we had to wait a while for the food also. Would have been nice to have been notified that we wouldn't be served a roast or needs their website updating! My dad is quite partial to a fried breakfast so he was quite happy still . In reply to your answer, we did book...

Brilliant, dog friendly rural pub. Chef seems to be creative around his execution on some fairly conventional pub food forms - as a family we enjoyed the juicy smash burgers, the crispy chicken parmigiana, and tender chicken Florentine, and some lush puddings - particularly the sticky toffee pud. Service was polite and friendly, the atmosphere was cosy and bustling on a chilly Friday night.

The fries are brilliantly spiced and very,...
