Step inside and you step back in time......this a real old fashioned place. The Queens Head was recommended as a place for good food, but you need to book as it's small....or cosy! The food was very good, old fashioned and proper tasty just like Grannies. The prices were pretty good too. We had Sunday roast beef which was really tender, great roasties, fresh veg and lashings of savoury gravy. I even, after a break, had apple crumble and custard which was lovely. Mother had rhubarb crumble with rhubarb from their garden. At the moment they are doing deliveries which is awesome. The landlord was pleasant and attentive. The place is being refurbed and the toilets were lovely. We will definitely be going back...I believe I heard landlord say they were going to be doing festive...

First visit last night since refurb and wow what a transformation ! Great range of ales and food in a cozy welcoming...
