The Queens Head — Restaurant in England

Was visiting with family and staying a stones throw away. Visited on first day of arrival and service, atmosphere was great. Visited again tonight on quiz night. Absolutely loved the place. It's literally what we want in a local pub. The atmosphere was perfect, lots of locals in, was alot of people due to the quiz and so atmosphere was amazing. Kids loved it too. And thanks soo soo much to the winners of the quiz gifting our kids with their prizes. Honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending. Thought I'd give this place another try when in the area.....no better unfortunately. Most staff ok. Pub cold and unwelcoming. TV on a music channel and very loud in bar/lounge area so can't sit and enjoy a quiet drink. Fine if the place is packed!!!! Food was average but nothing to shout about.
