What a fantastic pub the Red Lion Moore is! We visited booking a table of 15 for a family get together. We were given a private room with first class service and food. The staff couldn't have been more professional and considerate towards the 6 children some crawling around under there feet. This added to the great home from home feeling this pub offers. With a menu that caters for all dietary requirements it is a great place to meet up. If you local or passing through i would highly recommend a visit! Thank you all Red Lion Staff we will be back!

Came here with my work for a meal and drinks. We all sat out in the courtyard which I thought was very nice. There were all these huts around a fire pit and the they were all shielded from the sun which was great as it was a super hot day. They did also have heaters underneath all of them so would be a great place to sit out on a cold day as well. The food came out and it looked amazing. I ordered the 8oz ribeye steak.

We pre booked a table of 15 for my sisters birthday on the 13th of July and to say that the whole experience was utterly awful is an understatement. We ordered our food and waited over an hour for the first meal. It was then over 40 minuets after this for the last meal and the sauces for the first few meals to arrive, and by this point, we had already tasted the unpalatable, poorly presented, reheated food. We sent parts of our order back, and when the waitresses asked us if everything was ok, we obviously said no and expressed our disappointment in the service and the food. Having said that, overall the waiting on staff were pleasant to us. After our experience we made a complaint to the manager regarding the timing of the meals being brought out/the service, (as it was pre booked for a special occasion personally I would of expected higher standards of hospitality) and also the quality of the food we were served, that was quite frankly, the worst food I have ever eaten. The manager was rude, argumentative, unsympathetic, and unprofessional during the complaining process. It was repugnant behaviour from a manager to paying customers to say the least. When leaving the pub, inappropriate comments were made by management to us, again totally unprofessional. Amusingly - The motto for this establishment is "We don’t do fast food... We do good food as fast as we can" the food is most definitely not good nor did it come out fast. I would never recommend this place to anybody. I truly hope nobody has an experience like...

What can i say. Nice setting, nice court yard at the rear of the pub doing bbq menu , but that where i stop giving praise. Visited for my wife birthday lunch , we ordered 2 burgers and 2 sides of the bbq menu , but our daughter wanted something off the restaurant menu, oh you thought we started workd war 3 , eventually the chef said we could order off separate menues as theu were not busy . Asked if the burger came with salad , yes lettuce and tomatoes , so ordered 1 with full salad the other with just lettuce . I ordered 2 side , triple cooked chips and the tomatoe and red onion salad with balsamic vinegar minus thr tomatoe , so just red onion and balsamic vinager . Meal arrived , no salad on the burger , chips definitely not triple cooked , and my salad red onion and balsamic vinegar salad came with tomatoes ( not ordered) so sent back and asked fir a fresh red onion and balsamic vinager salad, meal returned with wrong salad so sent back for the second time , o ky to hesr the chef shout out loud fir christ sake whats wrong now, well i will tell you , how hard is it to serve red onion and balsamic vinager ONLY . Wife sent back burger bun are was so burnt it was inedible. Not the staffs fault , wholly the chef and in her own word 20 minuts earlier " we are not busy" . God help the customer if the are busy font expect burger salad and chips to be served correctly. The attitude of the chef at the bbq station was...

Restaurant masquerading as a pub. Been to this pub before whilst on visits to the area to see family over a 20 year period. Recently visited late afternoon and tried to have a drink in the pub but informed I wasn’t allowed as it was food only with someone guarding the bar area so I couldn’t order a drink. Was directed to a narrow room attached to the older part of the pub which was crowded with dogs children/prams etc, hardly any access to the bar as groups sat on stools on either side, no where to sit. I then sat back in the main part of the pub (which is the original beamed building where most people would want to sit), unobtrusively in the corner and was then rudely informed that if someone wanted the table I’d have to move (there were about 10 plus tables free at the time). Ironically they spent the whole time delivering food to the modern narrow room (used to be the old pool table room years ago) where everyone was crammed in. I prefer a normal traditional pub, where you can go to bar order a drink and sit where you want to & not treated like a second class citizen because I haven’t ordered a meal when I’m not hungry. Just glad it isn’t my local and I can still wander down to my own neighbourhood pub and sit amongst all paying punters (eating and not not eating) without an...
