The Stanton Arms is a fantastic village pub with really friendly staff and locals, though I've not tried the food everyone I spoke to have said it is superb and highly recommended. The Car Park is medium sized to the right of the, but if busy there is some on street parking available. I think there is wheelchair accessibility via the beer garden which might be useful for walking frame/stick users as the steps are quite steep. I can't say if the pub is child friendly, but I'm sure if they are eating a meal they'll be fine.
On this visit there was only one real ale on tap (Wyre Valley HPA), but for the beer connoisseur I can assure you the landlord keeps a really good pint.
The pub is spotlessly clean as is the lavatory you can tell that the landlord has cleanliness and pride in his pub.
Beer Garden is beautifully kept with well kept lawns. There are plenty of benches to enjoy the nice weather and decent sized smoking shelter where you will keep dry if it is raining.
