We visited Tuesday and had the most amazing meal. We're vegan, and were promptly told the brilliant selection of foods that could easily be made vegan (including pizza, chilli nachos, and med veg wrap - and more!). The staff were all wonderful, our dog was made to feel so welcome, the food absolutely delicious, so reasonable, Jane and Chris were the perfect hosts. I used the toilets and heard Chris ask "do we have a happy vegan" as the waitress returned the plates to the kitchen. This literally made me emotional - so often there are no options, let alone being made to feel so included. Irrespective of your dietary needs, the Stiddy caters (vg, gf, everything) in delicious home cooked meals. I cannot recommend the Stiddy highly enough and we will certainly be returning.

Just been for lunch. We're staying down at the campsite and I really can't say enough nice things about both. Huge portions of wonderful food, well kept beer and a great view of the North Yorkshire coast. I'm sure when the world opens and you can drink inside it'll be a great winter pub as well as a great spring pub. With Sandsend being a 20 minute walk away (down a giant hill) it's a great way to spend a day

This was a fabulous pub who fell over themselves to help. I had my dog with me, and I also have very special dietary needs (keto) and they couldn't have been more helpful. They are the ultimate in dog friendly pubs, very friendly and happy staff, and happy to adapt the menu to meet my needs. Highly recommended.

Well... We came to the campsite at the back of the stiddy which i think is owned and run by the same people... The staff at the campsite were wonderful and very helpfull. The campsite is a great place to be for lovely walks, super views over the sea and surrounding areas. The staff at the pub itself went out of their way to help and at the time of writing(2.5.2021) the covid restrictions were still in force so we couldn't go into the pub so they came out to take your order. Lovely food and wonderful beers. Sunday lunch was turned into a takeaway because of the weather but extremely well presented. We will be coming back asap and bringing our camping friends. Would highly recommend to anyone.. Dave...

Not your average pub grub! Beautiful hearty homemade meals, a fair selection of choice, decent portion size. I went for the 1/2 lb beef burger with the option of 2 toppings. No frozen malarkey here - 100% lean mince! If I was staying nearer I'd be working my way down the menu and trying everything! Kids meals were £8 with a drink and pudding included. They loved it. The best part of the experience was the helpful staff and the friendly atmosphere they brought to our table. The Landlady personally made us feel welcome and happy throughout our time there. Also there is a campsite behind the pub! Definitely be calling in again the next time I'm around this beautiful part...
