The Stone Inn — Restaurant in England

Really nice dinner and reasonably priced. Small mix up with the wifes nachos when she was given double cream instead of sour cream and she just poured it all over the nachos (I only laughed a little bit...). Staff were apologetic and willing to serve her something quick so she could still have her starter with us. Excited to see on the website menu Banoffee (Oh my...) and pecan (Wait...) pavlova (oh dear god yes!!!). Its not on the physical menu when we get there. Now I'm sad. We stopped at Hayton Hideaways for Christmas, totally outstanding. We went with our dog sox 🐾 for a bar meal Christmas eve, food was amazing, fresh, red hot, and plenty of. We went back on Christmas day as the stone inn opened for a couple of hours, the atmosphere was amazing, the locals were so friendly and you couldn't ask for any more to make you feel welcome and appreciated. We've booked again for May and Christmas at Hayton Hideaways and the stone inn for our bar meals. Great value and so friendly service, we were made to feel so welcome.... A fabulous warm welcome is always to be had at this great old Inn . it is truly an asset to the bucolic village of Hayton Fabulous ales . and great food can be had a very reasonable prices, Roast Beef on Sunday is a TREAT.. have a trip out to Gelt woods with the dog , and finish with a lunch, What could be better ??
