Exceptional Sunday Lunch at The Tiger Inn, Easington
I visited The Tiger Inn in Easington on Sunday, 4th May 2025, with a booking for 13.45 PM. We were shown to our table promptly and made to feel welcome straight away. I opted for the lamb, which was cooked to perfection, and finished with the chocolate fudge cake served with pouring cream – a rich and indulgent treat. It’s been a while since I’ve found a place that truly hits the spot, but The Tiger Inn certainly did.
I waited to leave a review to see if the experience was consistent. A week later, I returned and chose the beef this time, along with the same delicious dessert. Once again, the food was outstanding. The service remained faultless, and the staff were just as friendly and attentive as on the first visit.

Read moreWhen we first walked in we weren't too sure. However when we went into the dining room it was beautiful. I got glimpses of the kitchen and it looked lovely. I wasn't too keen on my main meal but everyone else enjoyed their food. My husband and I shared a pudding. There was enough for us both. The drinks were reasonably priced. There is a good, large car park which for us, with two disabled people was a refreshing change in that area. Staithes and Robin hoods Bay are no go areas if you have any sort of disability so that means all the restaurants in those areas are not able to be accessed by us. Don't worry it was my choice and not what I expected. Next time I'll have something different. It just wasn't what I thought. I've never had chicken parmesan before and it wasn't to my taste. Read moreMy partner found this pub on maps and suggested it on our day out from Great Ayton we're we were staying and what a suggestion .. from the moment we walked in made to feel really welcome the guys behind the bar were top of there game for suggestions and service good real ale selection (so I'm happy) and the food was excellent top notch massive portions menu and a great specials board.. keep your chef at all costs he / she is brilliant.. super dog friendly (we always check first) our dalmatian wilf loved the fuss and treats( note no dogs in the restaurant area only in bar and gardens.. and that's a good descion ) the outside seating looked lovely we would have sat out but it just was too hot .. absolutely ...
