Took a trip out into the hills around Bath and found this gem of an establishment. No booking made (as we were freestyling a bit) but the two young ladies behind the bar were amazing. My wife and I were made to feel very welcome. Ordered (table nibbles) warm crusty bread with balsamic and rapeseed oil dipping bowls, then for our Sunday roast we had 2 × Roast Legs of Lamb, accompanied by amazing veggies, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and incredible cauliflower cheese. All chaperoned just nicely by a very good House Red. Best Sunday Roast I've ever eaten. Highly recommended 👌🏻 Thank you The White Heart 🤍

A bustling pub offering a hearty menu. We booked here quite last minute, but they managed to squeeze us in. Food is very traditional pub grub with a few specials. Everything we ordered was served hot and was very tasty (if anything the poison sizes were a little bit too big! ) Service was fast and very friendly. We were sat in the bar area and while it was noisy and bustling... It was a nice friendly atmosphere. Will definitely come back

Last minute decision to have lunch out today 15 Dec. Having seen various adverts for The White Hart we decided to try it. Excellent decision. The traditional pub setting with warming log fires and an equally warm reception by the staff. The Lunch menu gave enough choices to satisfy anyone's tastes. I chose the Flat iron steak whilst my wife decided upon the Ham egg and chips. Both meals were excellent well cooked and served with salad, fries mushroom and tomatoes etc.it was such a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere that unusually for us we even tried the dessert menu. Cheeseboard for me, Sticky toffee pudding for my wife. Absolutely delicious. We left feeling very full but also determined to return soon to try the Evening menu. Try this establishment you will really not be disappointed. Dr....

Stopped by for the Vherbal pop up. Great garlic bread and pizza. Couldn't finish my pizza so had it put in a takeaway box. Found when I checked the box almost a whole slice was missing and clearly deliberately cut. Bought and paid for food and a tip to have food literally taken off my plate.

Edit Reduced rating from 2 to 1 following snarky response from owner that unfortunately says everything you need to know about them. I have no reason to lie. I had exactly half a pizza cut into four equal slices. When it was returned to me it was 3 and a sliver. Whether it was dropped or eaten isn't really the point. I paid for the meal I should get the full meal. It's a shame because I love Vherbal and think their food is incredible but doing this sort of thing will eventually reflect...

I recently stayed at the White Hart with my niece during our visit to Badminton horse Trials. I can't speak highly enough of the service we received from Nicola, Tony, and Beth. We arrived Friday evening during happy hour. Despite being clearly very busy, Beth greeted us with a warm smile. The room was modern, clean and beautifully appointed, and the food was home cooked, and delicious. The pub itself is an authentic old coaching Inn with acres of charm, and a beer garden, backing onto open fields. It was our first visit to Badminton, and Beth and Nicola helped us with the best directions, local knowledge and printed our parking pass. The team at the White Hart made us feel like old friends, and when we come back to Badminton we won't be looking for anywhere...
