Visited recently, had Tribute Battered Haddock, Chips, Mushy Peas, Tartar Sauce & Lemon Wedge. All very delicious & well presented. (Peas had gone cold which chose not to say, as relative & I were hungry. Know venue well enough that this would've been satisfactorily remedied had I mentioned it.) Relative had Hake fillet on a salad of warm new potatoes, tomatoes, peppers & red pesto, which thoroughly enjoyed. Had sticky toffee pudding & custard served with raspberry on top. Very light pudding, served piping hot with both toffee sauce & custard; a truly indulgent yet pleasurable end to a super lunch, during one of Summer's many heavy showers. Finished with Americano served with hot milk. Highly recommend as always, although should book if going for evening meal, as venue often busy.

Visited Wilcove Inn for evening meal, having reserved table. (Before entering Inn, took a little time to take in breathtaking view of water as tide was in & quite high. Noticed a small boat had partially capsized & was sinking into the sea.) Had king prawn korma curry, served with nann bread, fragrant rice & poppadom, truly delicious. Had to wait a little while for food as venue was busy. Unfortunately another table in front of us, who's pet dog was sick all over floor, conveniently ignored incident, leaving without any attempt to clean up mess or alert staff, knowing other customers were eating their meals. Disgraceful group of male customers who should be ashamed of themselves for total lack of responsibility!!

Really great pub /restaurant set in beautiful area on rivers edge in Wilcove. Indoor & outdoor seating available (advisable to book if eating in). Eaten here many times & never been disappointed. Staff lovely & interior rustically tasteful. (The recent Halloween theme was wonderfully adopted & much effort taken - well done all 🎃👻🍬🎃). If sitting outside in pretty beer garden overlooking water's edge, one can benefit from all nature's gems, both for it's many birds & surrounding trees. Equally pleasant are the variable boats & sometimes ships which can be spotted far ahead on the Tamar, it's truly picturesque. Parking available although country lane leading down to pub narrow so should be prepared to reverse if needed; both courtesy /respect should be shown to others, as frequent walkers use this route too. (Will take photo on next visit &...

I have had the good fortune to experience a meal at this super location three times in the last few months. On each occasion I have meant to write a positive review on the great food and super experience that we have thoroughly enjoyed. Many years ago I was working in Bristol and was told by a work colleague how great the Wilcove Inn was. Until the recent management took over, I never found that to be the case. It is now that good that my 'hard to please' Mother in Law, insists that I take her there at least once on each occasion that she visits from Cambridge. The staff have been nothing but helpful on each of our visits and the food has been both plentiful and of a very good quality. Whilst all of the starters look very appetising, I fail to move beyond the Crispy Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. Our main courses have included the Tribute battered Jumbo Haddock,Tiger Prawn Curry,Pan seared Sea Bass Fillet and steak. All have been cooked to perfection. My only criticism is of myself for not having reviewed this great pub earlier and on each occasion that we have visited and that I now have to suffer more frequent visits from my Mother in Law as she loves...

After what was quite a challenging weekend we came down to stay at the Wilcove Inn for a two night stay. The hosts were amazing, we ended up eating there for all meals, breakfast lunch and dinner. Food was 5*+ although our performance in the Tuesday evening quiz was below par, the service was far from the opposite. They accommodated all our needs, the great thing was how they welcomed our dog to the venue, the bathroom and room was stunning, and we were given expert advice on local towns and spots to visit. You can also fish off the jetty next door with beautiful views. We will 100% come back and thanks again to the lovely team that looked after us.

I booked a room at the Wilcove Inn for a night. I wish I had stayed there a week. The pub is small but has magnificent views of Plymouth Harbour. It is tucked out of the way so hardly any noise. The bar was clean and well stocked. The rooms were spotless, spacious and had wonderful views and the beds were really comfortable. The only down side I had is that breakfast was not included in the price. But the food was excellent, both evening and breakfast meals. I plan on staying there again. 10 out of 10 from me.

Really nice little pub, good range of beers and serves really good food. Efficient polite staff, gets very busy so would recommend booking. There is a very pleasant garden especially when the tide is in. They have a reasonable size car park opposite the pub . It is well worth seeking out this place it is in the back end of nowhere which is what makes it so charming. It hasn’t been over commercialised yet, please don’t change a thing.
