Sufaces looked clean enough but it has a smell like deprivation, like it hasn't been propperly cleaned or aired for years. Although the building looks large the area of the bar and seating seems quite small. Most of the chairs don't look very comfortable. I only bought a Guiness which cost £5.50 and I wouldn't expect to pay much more in the nicer pubs not far away.
Clearly I need to do some in-depth research into the local cost of a pint of Guiness. :-)
It isn't accessible for people with mobility issues. The outdoor tables all have ash trays full of water.

The meal was exceptional and really yummy desert, as a vegetarian I asked for my meat to be put on a separate plate for my dog.
