TJ’s Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in England

I had the most horrific experience at TJS on Friday evening, we were so excited for our camping trip to park foot lovely site and booked into TJS for our evening meal to be treated like a peice of dirt by the assistant manager and the god awful waitress (plump blonde young girl with 0 customer service skills and the most rude attitude) I returned a meal that tasted awful and said I was really sorry but I could not eat this, she said why so I explained my reasons and she then asked if I would like something else (which she later denied) she passed me a menu and I chose something then sat down, I was brought another meal which was average which is by the by, my partner went to order my son an ice cream and the waitress said excuse me you need to tell her she needs to pay for her burger and he said what and shouted me over I went over and said hi I’ve paid the bill im unsure what you mean she then proceeded to rudely shout at me saying I ordered another meal and I had to pay I said this wasn’t the case I had to return food I couldn’t eat that was awful and she offered me something else she said she didn’t and then stormed off to get the also very rude assistant manager (Sam maby?) they both argued with me that the food was nice and that I shouldn’t of took it back therefore I had to pay for the other meal I asked why they didn’t tell me this upon ordering me another meal and they said “why did you expect it for free” I said I have never been spoke to this way in a restaurant ever I was so upset they were so nasty and horrible and it is no wonder the place was dead. I loved park foot but will never return to TJS with staff like that it was an utter disgrace...

Great site terrible bar/ restaurant the barmaid was obnoxious I asked why she had changed me 85p for a glass of soda water as its free in every other bar I've ever been in I didn't mind paying but when I went back to the bar she decided to make a comment to her fellow member of staff she gestured in an inappropriate way so asked for a refund she got her manager Sam who refused to refund me even thou I said I didn't want to stay in the bar when the staff had no respect for there customers I'd return to the site but never to TJs also seen lots of the kids food being sent back and many complaints about the food that was served can't fault the park staff whatsoever they are amazing. Sam I said I'd leave a review and also as you wouldn't refund me I will be going through my bank to claim back the payment as you can't refuse my a refund when your service was...

Had food here today (Saturday night), not that busy really, was just extremely disappointed, ordered fish and chips, steak and ale pie, childs fish and chips, the fish and chips were perfect, however that’s where it ends, I had steak and ale pie which was tasty, however the portion was soo small and I mean I had nearly the same amount as my 4 year old child, I’m not one for complaining but at over double the price it’s crazy, we had to also chase around for condiments and was never asked once about our food, lacks vety poor customer care skills, if you want fish and chips it’s good however if you want steak and ale pie expect and tiny piece of pie, less chips than a child’s portion and a couple of pieces of veg, absolutely ruined my meal, I hope the...
