Top House — Restaurant in England

Great Customer Service- went to The Top House twice in the last week, once, just my wife and again the following night with Son, partner and Grandson. Food was great on both nights and the staff could not do enough for us, especially when we had our Grandson with us. Whatever we asked for, nothing was too much trouble, went t the bar made our request and was told 'No problem, we'll bring it over.

When the owner (I assume) said on the first night that these were the best Steaks in the North, I had a Fillet on the first night, he wasn't wrong, it was juicy, tender and tasted like a steak should. I didn't think could get better, but I had the T Bone on the second night, it was superb! My wife had the corned beef pie and her plate was cleared

We would highly recommend The Top House for anyone thinking of going there, you will not be...

We were here for a few days holiday myself, my daughter and Luna her little Cockapoo, we ate here twice and enjoyed every bite, my daughter had the lasagne both evenings, I had the steak pie first night and the savoury mince dinner the second night, the service was just right, and the food came quickly too, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this pub, the staff are very warm and welcoming, if we're ever back here we would have no hesitation on returning here, well done all of you. After a recent visit here, we were extremely disappointed. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly but unfortunately the food let it down. The chicken and beef were as dry as the Sahara, the chips looked enemic and tasted dreadful. The food has always been nice here on previous visits, so not sure if the chef has changed recently or it's just gone down hill. We definitely won't be back...
