Went today for a family carvery meal.....extremely long wait in-between placing our drinks orders to then being able to place our food order. Then waited a further 45 minutes before our good was brought put to somenof us,as half were having carvery and the other half were having from the traditional menu! Carvery was tasteless im sorry to say 😒😒. The cauliflower cheese was so watery, the cabbage and carrots had been left to dry out too long...they had started going slightly black around the edges. The Yorkshire puddings were bought in frozen ones that were like cardboard.....it doesn't take much to whisk up a batter mix and make proper homemade yorkies! Same goes for the parsnips.... pathetic small slices that were bought in frozen and cooked to nothing!!! As for the desserts.... they made up for everything that was so bad with the carvery - the desserts were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the lemon cheesecake and the banoffee pie!! Our tableware booked for 13.30pm and we finally got to start eating at 14:50pm....with no explanation or apology given from the staff. It wasn't over busy either...3 tables came in after us and were served and dealt with before our food order...

Went in for lunch on Sunday with family was greeted by a waitress who bought over a highchair to the table i said that we will not be needing a highchair as i was keeping little one in her pram. The waitress huffed and said with an attitude “i guess ill take it back then” . We was then topd we would need to wait until we are called up to go get our sunday roast we was waiting over 40mins and was only when i asked about if we could go get our roast we was allowed to go up. The roast was the worst ive ever had there not sure if they have new chefs in but the veg tasted like a bucket of salt had been spilt into the veg the potatoes were also disgusting and tasted old like they had been reheated. Some of the items of veg i couldn’t actually put onto my plate as the spoons for dishing up was extremely hot to the point they were burning your hand to touch. When taking my baby to the baby changing area i was greeted by a staff member asking if i needed a highchair as i was going through the baby changing room door. Funny enough i did not need a highchair to change my baby 😂 thus visit cost me £32 in total for me and my husband. Safe to say we will not...

My wife wanted a carvery so I searched on Google for one with good reviews and ended up booking a table for 4 here. We each had a standard carvery and unfortunately it was awful, the turkey was dry, the gammon was super salty and the beef gristly, the stuffing was like a small paving stone, the cauliflower raw and the potatoes not cooked. The parsnips were edible and so was the Yorkshire pudding but for £59 we left disappointed.

To top off a bad experience my daughters turkey had a large black hair in it which I believe was the guys hair who was serving the meat, the staff quickly replaced the full plate but by then my daughter felt sick and didn't want to put any of the food in her mouth.

Our plates were taken full of food and no questions were asked, when I asked for the bill we were passed a card which asks for you to review them on Google, I did say to the young lady you probably don't want me too but she said they have to give them to all customers, so here is my review.

If the owner reads this, my advice would be to acquire a new chef as these mistakes with the food only require very basic...

Nice place, decent food, service is OK, depending in who you get. If you get Brooke waiting your table, she is a delight and theres another lovely girl with dark hair. Dog friendly in the bar and part if the restaurant. Disabled Toilets available. We have and dinner and breakfast here as stay locally on a regular basis. Anyone staying at Bodmin Holiday Park, it an ideal place to eat. Plenty of parking and a couple of disabled spaces too. Lots of outdoor seating too when the weather allows. I definitely recommend it, There's a great choice on the menu and the carvery is the best we've found around. We will continue to visit when down on holiday.

Ordered for the first time the Sunday dinner for delivery. I won't be making that mistake again. Burnt veg or large undercooked lumps, all soggy, cold. Give it to them delivery was early then requested. But called for refund as really wasn't very nice at all. They did offer to replace it but didn't want the same again so had a refund. I did offer to return them as we were not going to eat it. They declined and refunded me. Shame as was really looking forward to a Sunday off cooking. Real shame. But won't be giving this another go 😔

Definitely a nice place to eat and drink, great atmosphere and the staff are so lovely and friendly! Food was delicious, we’ve eaten there twice now, and will be back again in the future. First Time we had Carvery & Curries for dinner which were delicious and plenty of flavour! Second Time there were curries, fish and chips and ham and chips which all were tasty and good sized portions! It was so nice, we had our drinks in the beer garden afterwards to enjoy the weather.
