We would 100 % rightly recommend the Victoria Pub in four lanes for any event, from an evening meal up to a wedding and beyond. We chose to have our wedding reception and evening due here, and we were blown away from start to finish, from booking our special day right till the very end of the night in question. They catered for every food allergy within our party so we could all have the same food and many different options were available, the venue was decorated beyond our expectations! And more than we could have ever hoped and dreamed for. The food was absolutely fabulous, even though we were late back from having our pictures taken, the staff were amazing and helpful throughout the whole day and evening and everything went smoothly. If we were ever to have another event, it would be with the fabulous owners of the Victoria Pub. Thank you so much for making our special day better than we could have ever dreamed of! We went on a Sunday evening, only roasts available, which is fine. One thing you want is for the food to be hot and it certainly was not. I sent my Daughters plate back as her meat was cold. My meat was also cold and was advised it should be luke warm! 😳 It was barely that. When our plates were collected I mentioned that everything they served was cold apart from the roast potatoes and gravy and the waitress said, "I will mention it." What can I say so friendly and welcoming Turn up on a day that the chief was trialling a new dish offered it to the staff .I was sat in the bar and it smelt wonderful Had already placed order for food and was offer the opportunity to first customer to try the new dish.
