Village Pizzas — Restaurant in England

We have unfortunately had a really poor experience here tonight. The order we received was not what we placed, this error was acknowledged and accepted, although they did offer for us to come and collect another pizza, we explained on the phone that we have a newborn baby so instead of driving out again or waiting for a delivery we’d prefer to be refunded for the pizza we didn’t receive, however was told that this was not an option. Unfortunately we cannot come out to collect again and therefore have now paid them for food we never had! Really poor service and lack of consideration for their customers. As we were staying a Sacrewell farm and fancied pizza, we headed over. Not realising the size of the place, we sprang a large takeaway order on them, and they dealt with it amazingly. They were honest with the time it would take and suggested we take half. They called us when the rest was nearly ready, and we headed over.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food (I had the large calzone, which was lush), and friends said the curries were nice also.

Would definitely recommend it, but if placing a large order, maybe get in touch earlier to make it easier all round.

I tried this business for the first last weekend.I have my own pizza oven and after much expererimentation reakon that I can make a jolly good one.I cannot tell you just how good and tasty the pizzas that were that were delivered.Outstanding would be an under statement. The supporting telephone service was efficient with an interim call from them to say our pizzas were prepared and in the oven.They were delivered on time by a most pleasant and courteous lady.This was a fantastic experiance and will be back to repeat .Well done to you...
